  • Supreme Court of Pakistan 2017-Maid torture case: VISION called-on as subject expert on child trafficking by the Chief Justice of Pakistan
  • Supreme Court of Pakistan 2018- VISION Filed a CPLA to register the children of sex workers in formal educational institutions.

 

  • Transgender Rights
  • High Court, Lahore 2001- VISION Filed a WRIT against HIV & AIDs testing of Transgender population without informed consent.
  • Supreme Court of Pakistan-Human Rights Cell (HRC) 2017- VISION Filed a CPLA against municipal authorities on forced eviction of transgender populations from Mardan city.
  • Office of District Police Officer 2019- VISION Filed a complaint against municipal authorities on forced eviction of transgender population from Swat.
  • Provincial Ombudsman, Rawalpindi 2020- VISION Filed a complaint against discrimination of transgender population in Murree.

Policy Making Endeavours

2018– Chief Justice advisory committee member- expediting and streamlining transgender identity cards.

2019– Policy document with Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA)- VISION assisted in drafting policy document on the implementation of Transgender Protection Act 2018

The lawyer looked at the father with hatred and spite, and replied with sarcasm, “He is a lawyer, but,
what he does, no respectable person in this world would do. Sir jee, he convinces transgender to use condoms and then has the audacity to call himself honourable, and fit to father a son. Tell me Sir jee,
would any person with an iota of self-respect do something like this?”
The judge looked down at the father and said to him condescendingly: “At least respect your profession!
You are a lawyer too! You should not be indulging yourself with this kind of filth and wasting your
time.”
